I just want to take a moment to slow down and let this sink in.
Take a look at this post from Carry The Future.
Can you believe barely two years ago we were just getting started? We were meeting individual refugees in the ports of Athens and giving them one simple, useful item - a baby carrier. Now we're a recognized partner and contributor in the on-going humanitarian crisis regarding refugees worldwide.
The post I'm sharing is an announcement that Carry the Future has begun to contribute and donate aid to the crisis happening in Bangladesh. Getting CTF into this emerging crisis is monumental for us, our volunteers, and our donors. We've now got access to a region that has seen hundreds of thousands of Rohingya refugees who have fled violence in Burma.
The potential impact we can have here is massive, beyond imaginable scale - and it's all in addition to the work we continue to do in Greece. As much as I wish there was never a need for an organization like Carry the Future, I'm beyond grateful that CTF is here, that I am a part of it, and we are having a positive impact on the lives of thousands of deserving people, daily.
